Intake fosters are needed for bunnies who are abandoned and need a 3-4 week quarantine time before coming to the shelter. EARS will provide setup and supplies. You will work with an EARS member who will help you with questions about the bunny’s care. You will need to be able to bring the bun to the vet, if required.
Intake fosters are very much needed, as the RHDV virus is present in the US and we cannot expose the rescue bunnies until we’re sure the intakes are healthy. This virus only affects rabbits. You can read more about here.
